RNOX Tech Accelerator in Reno Announces Virtual Grand Opening

RNOX, a new tech accelerator in south Reno, is holding their virtual Grand Opening on August 31 by going Live on Facebook.

“This is going to be a very special event as we celebrate our launch as Nevada’s premier tech accelerator,” says Executive Chairman, Shaunt Sarkissian. “In addition to virtually meeting our team and start up companies, we will have local, statewide and national elected officials online providing their perspective on the important mission and vision of RNOX.”

RNOX opened for business at the end of March and has been making tremendous progress, even in the face of the pandemic. Their mission is to accelerate the development of tech companies in Nevada, and they are passionate about helping Nevada become a national leading technology powerhouse.

Federal and state leaders have taken notice and are grateful to see the accelerator moving the tech needle forward in northern Nevada.

The RNOX Accelerator R.E.A.L. program officially begins on August 17: R.E.A.L. stands for Rapid Entrepreneurial Accelerated Launch, and is a 16 week designed to boost startup tech companies.

“When we founded RNOX, it was a vision of accelerating another “Next” – the next regional technology powerhouse of Nevada 2.0,” Sarkissian continues. “Nevada, and the Reno region, are in a rapid stage of accelerated growth. And by creating RNOX, we have finally created a place where leading-edge global startups (not just the large, multinationals relocating here) can take advantage of this change, and they can found their companies in a new leading region with all of the components to ensure their success.”

To date, RNOX has signed two companies, including BookIt, a new sports gaming app with a lot of momentum.

“When I came across The RNOX Accelerator, it was truly like finding a diamond in the rough amongst US accelerator programs to apply for,” says BookIt Founder and CEO, Trent Attyah. “The entire team behind the RNOX accelerator is so passionate about the ventures and the entrepreneurs they’ve invested in. As a young CEO, I am extremely grateful to be a part of such an amazing program that will give me the necessary guidance and advisory to lead us to becoming a successful startup.”

To further its vision of Nevada 2025, RNOX has also created and launched a new podcast – called “The Sark Tank” – that focuses on entrepreneurs, their experiences, and all things about “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Capital”. It is now available on all on all major podcasting platforms:
